 
Hoops are fashioned from pine planks which are trimmed steamed and bent
to shape. No nails or screws are used. Painted and unpainted drums available in a variety of sizes and rim
widths.

Michael crafted the ceremonial drum
(pictured below) in 1999 for the first Australian Sun Moon Dance which was
chiefed by Joseph Rael, Beautiful Painted Arrow and attended by 49 dancers
from around the world.
The ceremonial drum pictured below was made in 1999 for the first Australian Sun Moon Dance which was chiefed by Joseph Rael, Beautiful Painted Arrow and attended by 49 dancers from around the world. The drum started out as one enormous pine log which I cut down to 3' then hollowed it out. When I had trimmed and smoothed the outer and inner surfaces I sealed it. The drum skin is deer, which I prepared the old fashioned way - by scraping.I make all my drums and Spiritual Tools respectfully and in a sacred manner with prayers and purifying smoke from, bush doctor, sacred sage and cedar.
