The Sarvodaya Camp at Hambantota has volunteer teachers providing classes for the students. The teacher asked the children to draw pictures and they all drew the same thing - the tsumami that swept through their villages and homes.

      OUR TARGET FOR THE YEAR IS $50,000.00

      OUR COMMITMENT FOR THE NEXT 12 MONTHS
      We have committed the next twelve months to raise funds to assist people affected by the Tsunami. This will be done through various fun and fund raising activities through the year.

      OUR RESPONSE?
      As we heard about the disaster, on the 26th December, we immediately lit a candle for the victims, humanitarian workers, the departed souls and all people to dig deep and support the Relief Work as well as, each other with Love and Compassion

      We have committed the next 12 months to Fun and Fund raising in the Central Victorian Area of Australia.

      IN PROGRESS
      Collection Tins have been placed in Super Markets; Bakeries; Chemists; Pubs; Milk Bars; Newsagents and Speciality Shops. Every second Thursday volunteers will sit outside the Maxi IGA Supermarket in Castlemaine collecting funds. They will have a temperature chart and updates on disbursements of funds.
